As CEO of the Indus Earth Trust, I am continuously inspired by the enthusiasm and energy of the coastal communities especially women and young people with whom we engage. They are the ones driving positive change in their communities, and they are demonstrating true leadership. Youth social action is important, and it is time for young people to take the lead in advocating for beneficial reforms that benefit society.

I am confident that Indus Earth Trust can bring holistic development to coastal areas of Sindh and Baluchistan by empowering communities through an integrated development model that caters to many needs and creates a sustainable ecology for social projects to thrive.

The Indus Earth Trust is dedicated to transforming impoverished lives of coastal communities via pioneering programs in areas such as organization of the communities, Climate Change Resilience & Mitigation, WASH, Restoration and creating livelihood, Gender Mainstreaming & Women Empowerment, Housing with Zero-Carbon Method, Health & Education Services, Community skill development, Coastal resource management, alternative Energy (Solar & Wind), Peace-building and Social Harmony, all of which are implemented in a sustainable manner. We have made significant strides towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, aligning our actions with the global agenda for eradicating poverty and promoting well-being for all.

Indus Earth Trust has strong partnerships with the Sindh government, civil society organizations, corporate foundations, and CSR partners. The Indus Earth Trust has made a positive impact by providing basic facilities, market skills, productive linkages, village and settlement development and planning, raising awareness about human rights, constitutional rights, women’s rights, advocacy, youth engagement, and the importance of gender balance in all aspects of life.

This remarkable success is the result of our acclaimed Chairwoman’s innovative leadership and the Board of Trustees’ unrelenting devotion.
