Community Training and Skill Enhancement

Introduction

Indus Earth Trust’s Community training and skill enhancement program aim to equip communities, families, and individuals with practical skills and knowledge relevant to their local context, ultimately empowering them to improve their livelihoods and contribute to community development.

Community training aims to build the capacity of community members in planning, organizing, and managing local resources and also covers to proper record keeping and transparent documentation and accountability within community structures. Trained office bearers of the community and village organizations building stronger, more resilient communities by equipping individuals with essential skills, promoting social cohesion, and fostering a sense of belonging. It empowers people to address local challenges, enhance their own lives, and contribute meaningfully to the collective well-being.

IET CTSE program targets personal and professional development of multiple community groups including youth, women, men and the people with especial abilities, to enhance their incomes by giving them skill training and teaching skills appropriate to their circumstances and social background for a better life and future. Indus Earth Trust emphasizes training for successful adoption of new technologies ownership which helps responsibility and long term continuity of community-based initiatives. Indus Earth Trust has signed the MOUs with esteemed technical and vocational training institutes; SZABIST, ZVMG Rangoonwala for the youth skill enhancement.
